OBC 30' Semi-Gable Greenhouse Frame

The Semi-Gable Greenhouse is designed as a multi-use greenhouse for hanging baskets, flowers and nursery stock.
- Mechanical galvanized carbon steel pipe
- High rating 55,000 PSI
- Two-piece bows are 1-7/8" 13 gauge secured with a 1-5/8" internal sleeve
- Starting height is 4-1/2' sidewall (approx. 12.5' at the peak)
- 3 row of 1-3/8" x 16 gauge purlins
- Legs are 2-3/8" X 15 or heavier gauge pipe
To Cover a 30' wide Semi-Gable Greenhouse:
- 48' wide poly covers ground to ground
- 44' wide shade cloth covers ground to ground
- 40' wide shade cloth or poly covers this house if attached at the top side boards.

After one year our greenhouse plastic had torn at all of the corners, just above where the stubs meet the bows. Perhaps the angle in the bow is too sharp, causing most of the tension to rest at these spots. The plastic was installed evenly and tightly, but the greenhouse was on a windy site. Could have been user error, but i've built many semi quonset greenhouses and had never seen this happen before. Additionally, the company made 3 mistakes on our order, requiring three additional deliveries and a month delay in our construction. Not super happy with the experience over all.
