Nico-Knit Fabric
NICO-KNIT FABRIC: The black knitted shade has UV inhibitors added to the raw polyethylene prior to being extruded into the yarns used in the fabric. These UV inhibitors help the fabric resist deterioration caused be the sun. Polyethylene is similar to plastic so rain will run off the fabric. Polyethylene is softer and more flexible so it won’t freeze and break as quickly as polypropylene in a very cold or snowy environment.
